"Northern Star Gets Sneak Preview"

Tracks from Melanie Chisholm's forthcoming debut album "Northern Star" got
a first outing last week.
Five previously unheard tracks were debuted at a Virgin Records conference
in Barra Navidae Mexico on July 28, 1999. "Northern Star" is expected to
be a big international hit and is the first by a current Spice Girl since
the group's own 13.9 million selling Spiceworld was issued worldwide in
November 1997.
Melanie will promote the album by live performances around the world
including the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Japan.
